At 4:04 PM today, my lovely wife received an email from London Marathon Events. The charity she works for, Carriers of Hope, have got a place in the 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon. She's asked me if I would like to run it and raise money for the charity, and of course I've said yes!
Only problems I can think of are:
- I've never ran more than 13.1 miles in my life and the last time I did that was over a year ago.
- I've gained 2 stone during COVID-19 lockdown
- I have very little willpower and love chocolate.
Let's see how this goes!
