To manage the crowds at the beginning of the London Marathon, there are three different start points. One of them is Greenwich Park.

It's a huge royal park in the South East of London, and it was used for lots of Olympic and Paralympic events in 2012. It's got a kids' play area, but it's probably most famous though for its observatory right in the middle.

The observatory is where we get Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) from. It's the time that was observed from looking at the stars and planets from the Greenwich Royal Observatory. The Greenwich Meridian (0 degrees longitude) is so named because it runs right through the observatory. It's literally where the Eastern half of the world meets the Western half.

Also Charlie and Lola visited there on their trip to London!
