Since this week includes the Solihull Half Marathon, I get to share this photo of Lizzie running with me again!
This is easily my fondest memory of what was a brilliant run. As for the whole week...
Day | Run Type | Distance |
Sunday | Solihull Half Marathon | 13.1 miles |
Monday | Haha yeah right! | 0 miles |
Tuesday | 5 mile recovery with Sarah | 5 miles |
Wednesday | Steady Run (abandoned) | 2.6 miles |
Thursday | Rest Day | 0 miles |
Friday | Skipped Run (sorry!) | 0 miles |
Saturday | Rest Day | 0 miles |
Total | 20.7 miles |
So not only did I run with my daughter this week, I also ran with Sarah as part of my recovery. She's just started off ar running, so we go much slower than my usual pace, but that means I run for longer than I usually would on a recovery run, which helps with my recovery and increases time on my feet.
I did skip a run on Friday. The disadvantage of being heavily involved in a refugee charity is that when there's a humanitarian crisis you're easily worn out. The Wednesday run was abandoned after I started getting chest pain, which turned out to be nipple rub. Nipple plasters now purchased!
