I made progress in two different ways this week.

First of all, I nudged my weekly runs up to 3 miles. Next week I'll move one of them up to 4 miles.

The second thing was increasing the big run distance to 8 miles That's nearly a third of a marathon!

I couldn't quite make an 8 mile route work, so to start with I added an extra corner to my route at about 3 miles.



It didn't quite make it up to 8, so I ran around the park a bit at the end.  My pace was a little off from last week. But I had trouble sleeping and a bit of a poorly tummy, so all in all I'm still fairly happy.

Next week is going to be a bit weird because we're away, but I'm still hoping to get the miles in. Aiming for 19 miles, so one 4 miles mid-week run, two 3-milers, and one 9 miler.
