Here are my runs for week 3.

My distance run on Saturday was much better this week than last week's debacle. 7 miles at a fairly constant pace with no major stops (although I need to keep going a bit faster when I'm breaking for water etc.) 



Rather than running down Browns Lane I took a slightly longer route around some country lanes in Allesley, before running further up Bridlebrook lane and then taking the nice downhill route all the way back to the end. 

So following the "add 10% rule" I have 16.7 miles to play with this week. I want to do 8 miles on my big run, so that leaves 8.7 miles for my three midweek runs. Basically 3 miles each, which is more than I have been doing but I think it would be beneficial (The first week of the beginner marathon training, when I get there, has 4 midweek sessions of 4 miles, so I need to build these up).

But yeah, it's been a good week. I think I'm getting the hang of this!
